Home Opener 2010

Tyler and I went to the Home Opener on Sunday...Cowboys vs. Bears!! We were super excited for a GOOD game and one where we actually won...but that of course was not the case. Boo Cowboys...we haven't given up on you yet but quit breaking our hearts!! This was my first time to the new stadium and it was amazing!! It is by far the nicest stadium...and the cleanest!! We had a lot of fun despite the depressing loss...hopefully they pull it together for Sunday's game vs Houston....GO COWBOYS!!

Landon gets DUNKED!!

It has become a family tradition to bless every baby in the pool early on. We have always revolved our summers around the pool and created tons of great memories. My best memories growing up are 99% from summer and being in or around the pool. Summertime is my favorite time of the year...swimming...the smell of fresh cut grass...sunny days...warm nights...margaritas...grilling...kids running around playing....and DUNKING BABIES!! Well Landon's big day finally came at 8 1/2 weeks and we were sure to catch it on camera...see video below. He took it like a champ...like I have said before he is the most laid back baby...he didn't even whimper! Love you Tubbs and welcome to our favorite past time!

Landon 2 Months

Our baby boy is TWO Months!! I have been dreading this time to come because I knew that I was going to have to leave my babies and go back to work! I am so thankful for these last two months I have had at home with the kids and can't believe the summer is almost over! Ava has been taking full advantage of the pool and can swim all by herself now! Thanks to Tyler's hard work and dedication with her. I am so proud of her and can't believe I have a two year old that swims. Landon is doing great...as you will see he is a SUPER good eater! He eats ALL the time and I mean ALL the time...he eats the same amount that a 4 month old eats! He is such a chunk that even his doctor asked me yesterday if I was sure he was only 2 months...what can I say we have BIG kids! He is so laid back and is the sweetest baby...but what baby isn't sweet! He smiles and laughs all the time and is such a happy baby. He is so good that I feel like sometimes with all the craziness you could forget about him. Unlike our 2 year old that throws herself on the floor and has temper tantrums for NO reason. Landon doesn't have much of a choice but to get on board and enjoy the ride because at times it can get pretty bumpy!! The good news is that Ava is absolutely AMAZING with him and has the biggest heart...thank goodness!

A BIG Weekend

This past Labor Day Weekend was a BIG weekend for us! It was our 6 Year Anniversary and Emma and Reid's wedding. They actually got married on our anniversary...September 4th. It was so much fun celebrating our special day with so many family and friends and watching another couple celebrate their love and and the beginning of their future together.

Tyler and I got a room at the Crescent for Saturday night so Gloria came and stayed with the kids and we had a very nice 24 hours OFF! We relaxed by the pool all day soaking up the sun, ordering lunch poolside and drinking margaritas! It was so much fun!! Just as I was finished getting ready for the wedding Tyler came up behind me and surprised me with the most amazing gift...a BEAUTIFUL ring representing both Ava and Landon with their birthstones! It was the perfect gift after 14 years of knowing each other, almost 9 years together, 6 years married and two beautiful babies later!! I love this man so much and everyday that goes by I am so incredibly thankful to have such a wonderful man by my side that I love so dearly and is my best friend in the world!
