St. Patty's Day at the Arboretum

I am a little behind....life has been a bit crazy these days. Suzanne and I took the kids to the Arboretum for St. Patty's Day and had a blast!! It was so crowded (although it did not seem like it once we got in) we had to park almost 3 miles away and get bussed in. This was the first time I had been there where this happened. I guess everyone wanted to take advantage of the great weather. It was one one my favorite play dates. Nicolas and Ava had so much fun exploring and running around. It was such a beautiful day after all this cold weather. Even though...we got 6 inches of snow the next Saturday after it had been 75 degrees...Crazy Texas weather!! Alexandra is such a sweet girl and played with the kiddos and kept them pretty entertained. I can't wait to go back and get some more great pictures.

Tyler's 30th Birthday

Happy Happy Birthday to my amazing husband of almost 6 years. Tyler and I are both celebrating a new decade this year, CRAZY!! I can't believe my hubby, which I have known since I was 17....is 30!!! 30 always seemed so FAR away...but it has kindly approached us. We have so many great memories together and this is just the beginning of so many great more! We had 20 wonderful friends and family join us in the celebration Saturday night. We went to Cuba Libre for dinner and then to Park for some much needed fun and catching up with friends. Tyler definitely had a good time...maybe a little too much fun!! I think he was on a mission to prove that he still had it and could hang like he use to at 21. Happy Birthday baby and I am right behind you....muah!!

Where's Tyler???

So I have been very sick with little Landon in my belly (yes we are having a boy!!) and Tyler has taken over and become "Super Dad". Tyler put Ava to bed the other night and he never came back so I got up to check on Ava and this is what I found!!

How cute are they?? We had to lower the mattress all the way to the ground because of our little climber. Just as of 4 days ago....Ava is now able to get out with the mattress on the floor!! Guess it is time for a big girl bed!!
