Easter Weekend

I am a week behind...but things have been a bit crazy these days! Easter was such a fun filled weekend. We celebrated Easter with my family on Saturday at my mom and Mitch's house. Mom made a delicious Prime Rib with tons of amazing sides. They heated the pool and spa which we all got in after dinner. As soon as we got there Ava ran out back and before we knew it she was stripped down naked. She immediately got in the pool on the sun deck and loved it. My child loves to be naked...she will tell you..."Ava Naked...naked...naked!!" It is too funny! Then on Sunday, we celebrated with Tyler's family and went to the Easter egg hunt in their neighborhood at Prairie Creek. It was so much fun! Ava had a blast...she would pick up the eggs...shake them...if she did not hear anything she threw them down. My child knows what she wants!

Mexico Getaway!!

Tyler and I decided to plan this trip some time ago as we knew this would probably be our only trip for the year with our new addition due in July. It ended up working out that a few of our friends who I have met through my mommy group wanted to go as well. Kevin was celebrating his 40th B-Day with a Bang and he and Kellie had many of their friends join them as well. It was so much fun. Tyler and I were joined by Amanda and Travis at Secrets Capri and had a blast! We were there for 5 days and this trip was the true definition of RELAXATION! We did not have to worry about anything...our days consisted of rolling out of bed to the sounds and view of the ocean...going to breakfast...picking our chairs out for the day by the pool/beach and what time we wanted to meet up for dinner. It was perfect!! Miss Ava had a 5 day vacation at Mimi and Grandpa's and loved it. During our stay in Mexico my mom managed to get Ava off the bottle...yes Ava was still getting a baba twice a day...and get her potty trained. Ava has now been officially off the baba for 2 weeks and has been using the potty everyday for 2 weeks #1 and #2. She gets so excited as do we!! If she sees milk she shakes her head and says, "no....no baba". This trip was well worth it....thanks mom and Mitch for your help, we owe you BIG time...XOXO!!
